The 2010 USHA Masters National Doubles tournament was a great opportunity for all of us to show what can be done on the east coast. PA's Keystone Handball, including Randy Wolfe and his committee, deserve much credit for hosting a great national event!
There were no national titles earned by Delawarean this year although Ray Estevez did capture a second place playing with Tony "the Dean of Deans" Winters in the 55+ Division.
Lotsa of credit needs to be paid for the food served during the tournament. Jim Mayo, former Delawarean and forever adopted son of the First State, strategized the menu and prepared much of the entrees. Thanks also goes out to Chef Joe Grace III, son of handball player Joe Grace of Morris, PA, for the potato salad, baked Ziti, equipment and lotsa advice. The bigest hit of the items served was the smoked Kielbasa served on a roll and provided by Swiacki Meats of Philadelphia.
Thanks to Lehigh Valley Racquet + Fitness Center for all their help.
